As technical commercial employee You'll be the point of contact for our customers – not just in the Netherlands, but worldwide. You'll advise, prepare quotes, and ensure they receive the best ropes, cords, and lines. You'll also independently manage sales processes and assist management when needed. A challenging role where your commercial acumen and analytical skills will make all the difference.

You'll be in daily contact with customers and colleagues – by phone, email, and in the office. You'll ensure that questions are answered quickly and professionally and that our customers worldwide remain satisfied. At Langman, you'll work with high-quality products, from high-performance fibers such as Dyneema® to natural fibers, and contribute to the success of an innovative Dutch family business,

At Langman Touw, you'll work in an internationally oriented environment with clients worldwide. You'll be the face of our company, ensuring that our high-quality products reach our customers on time, according to specifications, and with excellent service.

Who are we looking for?

You can switch quickly in hectic moments and always keep an overview.
Thanks to your analytical skills and enthusiasm, you keep everything on track.

You also have:

  • A completed (commercial) MBO education;
  • Strong communication skills, social and commercially oriented;
  • A strong sense of responsibility;
  • Excellent command of Dutch and English, and you are proficient in German;
  • Negotiation power and persuasiveness;
  • Accuracy in administrative processes.

What are you going to do?

  • You are the point of contact for customers, relations and internal departments;
  • You conduct telephone sales calls and advise customers;
  • You receive clients at the office and represent Langman at (international) trade fairs;
  • You prepare calculations for quotations and ensure that they reach the customer correctly and on time;
  • You maintain contact with transporters at home and abroad;
  • You temporarily take on management tasks when management is absent;
  • You manage price lists, advertisements and contribute to the maintenance of our websites.
