Cauliflower rope
With FLOR® cauliflower twine and a new cauliflower tying machine, you'll save significant time and labor. This new method also results in a much higher harvest yield and less physical strain. FLOR® puts an end to yellowing of cauliflowers once and for all. The twine is flexible, completely knotless, soft, and biodegrades quickly and 100% after harvest.
FLOR® is an innovative cauliflower twine developed in the Netherlands for cauliflower tying machines.
Innovative cauliflower rope
Developed in the NetherlandsFLOR® is an innovative cauliflower twine developed in the Netherlands for cauliflower tying machines. FLOR® protects your crop and eliminates yellowing. Consumers don't want yellowed cauliflowers. With FLOR® cauliflower twine, you protect your cauliflower crop from discoloration. This immediately translates into a higher harvest yield.
In addition, FLOR® cauliflower twine protects your crops from dust, insects, and hail. FLOR® cauliflower twine is suitable for all cauliflower varieties, both long-day and short-day varieties.
More and more beautiful cauliflowers with FLOR®
FLOR® cauliflower twine ensures a higher harvest yield by preventing yellowing. FLOR® also ensures good wind circulation and better drying of the plants. By sewing the cauliflower leaves closed, there's more space between the rows and less moisture. This simplifies harvesting. Your cauliflowers will also rot less at the base of the stem and will be even more beautiful than when covered manually. With FLOR®, it even becomes attractive to grow better-tasting, but more challenging, varieties.
The post-harvest benefits of FLOR®
Even after harvest, FLOR® cauliflower twine offers several advantages. For example, the leaves and twine are easy to cut during harvest. FLOR® loses its strength immediately after harvest. This allows you to easily cultivate the field with leaves and twine (milling/mulching). FLOR® then breaks down quickly and 100% biodegradably in the soil. The field is then quickly ready for the next crop.
